Returns & Refunds

We want you to feel good about every order. If something is not right, we are here to help. Because our products are supplements taken into the body, we follow clear rules around returns for health and safety reasons, in line with South African consumer law.

Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)

Under South Africa's Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you may cancel an online order within 7 days of receiving it and return it for a refund, provided the product is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed condition. This does not apply to products where the seal has been broken, for the health and hygiene reasons explained below.

Opened or partially used products

For your safety and the safety of all our customers, we cannot accept returns of supplements once the seal has been broken or the product has been opened or partially used. This is standard practice for consumable health products and does not affect your rights in respect of faulty items below.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right. Depending on the situation we will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping paid. Please keep the product and packaging and send us a photo where possible, as this helps us resolve things quickly. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act are not affected by this policy.

How to start a return

Email us at info@helpwellness.co.za with your order number and a short description of the issue. We will confirm whether your item qualifies for a return and send you the steps. Please do not send anything back before contacting us first.

Return shipping costs

  • If the return is due to our error, a faulty item, or a damaged delivery, we cover the return shipping.
  • If you are returning an unopened item under the cooling-off period because you changed your mind, the cost of returning the item is for your account.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will let you know if it has been approved. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to reflect the funds.

Items that cannot be returned

  • Opened, unsealed, or partially used products.
  • Products returned more than 7 days after delivery (except in the case of faults covered by the Consumer Protection Act).
  • Gift cards.
